Smack in the middle of a high probability target area in price and time the S&P500 currently attempts to put in a bottom.

Due to short-term positioning that is caught off-sides, such reversals tend to be very volatile over a few days or weeks.

It is by no means certain that we have reached the very bottom of the current correction, but a range of factors support the idea that we are beginning a bottoming process now.
