With several powerful thrusts brittle market breadth began to improve across the board, which finally led to an exceptionally strong momentum impulse into the end of the year.

As momentum tends to beget momentum, this sets a positive tone for 2024.

From a seasonal perspective the stock market faces more headwinds during US presidential election years than in pre-election years, which leads me to expect a positive year, albeit less stellar than 2023.
